Racism remains a constant issue in football. In response, Fortaleza Esporte Clube launched the campaign Alvos do Racismo to push for racism to be treated as a crime inside stadiums. During a match against Corinthians, Black players from Fortaleza replaced their traditional striped jerseys with shirts featuring a target symbol. The design represented how they and many others feel daily—targeted by racism—turning a powerful message into a call for real legislative change.
