Reprinting Nica

Three years after the last printed newspaper in the country was published by La Prensa Nicaragua, on the paper’s anniversary it decided to return that right to information to all Nicaraguans. But it could not be done anywhere other than Nicaragua. So, from exile, using the navigation rights of a Costa Rican boat, the first maritime press room was created, where the 98th anniversary edition was written, edited and published. Right from Nicaraguan territory, without the country's dictatorship noticing. This special edition was distributed on different WhatsApp, Telegram and Mail channels, so that Nicaraguans could print a newspaper again in the country that for more than three years had not had a printed press. This way the edition became more than just a normal print run, but a method of protest that occupied Nicaraguan citizens from the safety of their homes to demand freedom of the press on Journalist's Day.
